Biography:
DISKORD is a dark and impenetrable abstract wall concealing a horrifying sonic landscape in pink where up is down, night is day and clear is unclear. A swirling beanstalk of doomy old school death metal intertwining with fast and slow diversified sounds to create the absolute meltdown of your senses and ultimately guiding you to the innermost reptilian part of your brain.
Releases include debut album 'Doomscapes' (Edgerunner Music/VME 2007), 7" vinyl EP 'hdfh' (Vendlus Records 2005) and the demos 'Demo 2001' and 'Aural Abjection' (2003). Hailing from Oslo, Norway, the somewhat unconventional line-up features a power-trio consisting of Hans Jørgen Ersvik on combined lead vocals/drums, Eyvind Axelsen on bass/backing vocals and Espen T. Hangård on guitar/backing vocals.
